    hammock porch

    dated facility

Hammock on the covered porch provides a relaxing spot. excellent wildlife viewing with daily sloth sightings. The gardens are beautifully landscaped, offering a serene escape in nature.

The property feels dated with thin walls that allow noise from neighboring rooms to seep in. Limited amenities include a hot tub that didn’t work, faulty hot water in the room, and unclear beach access, misleadingly described as beachside when it's actually cliffside with rocky shores.

    spacious bungalow
    beautiful garden
    outdated furnishings

We really loved staying in the two-bedroom bungalow, especially enjoyed spotting sloths right from our porch! The hotel offers laid-back vibes with a beautiful garden area and quick access to a nearby beach for some relaxing time. Just a heads up, the place could use a little update, but it didn’t take away from our fun experience. 🌿

great location but limited dining options

The two-bedroom bungalow provided ample space for our family with delightful garden views and frequent wildlife sightings. We enjoyed relaxing by the lovely pool, which was clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful, offering tips for local activities. The vibrant gardens featured a variety of beautiful plants and wildlife that made our stay even more enjoyable.

However, the nearby dining choices were somewhat limited, which made meal planning a bit challenging.

Enjoyed the fantastic swimming pool and the beautiful garden teeming with wildlife, including resident sloths. The location is peaceful, with lovely beach walks available. However, the limited dining options and some dated amenities were minor drawbacks, and the noise from neighboring rooms could be bothersome at times. Despite these issues, the friendly staff provided excellent service throughout our stay.

    friendly staff
    clean pool
    wildlife sightings
    hot water issue

The property is super peaceful, and we even saw a sloth by the pool. The staff was friendly, helping us with a tour desk for local adventures. Nice clean pool and lots of parking. Nearby dining was great. Just a tip, Bring water shoes for beach access, as it’s a bit rocky.

Our room's hot water didn’t work well, which was a letdown during our stay.

    Nature lover's paradise!

We stayed in a cute bungalow surrounded by amazing gardens and wildlife. Spotted lots of monkeys and even some sloths chilling! The room was comfy with great A/C and a mini-fridge. Only thing was the nearby dining spots were kinda limited, but that restaurant across the road had some yummy dishes.

    wildlife viewing
    outdated room

The two-bedroom bungalow was just right for us. We enjoyed the pool, spotted sloths, and the tour desk helped us plan a fun boat excursion. The nearby restaurant across the street was a hit too. Don’t forget to try the local wildlife viewing around the gardens.

The room felt a bit outdated and the hot water in our unit didn’t work well, which was disappointing.

    delicious food

Just a perfect match for a mini-break over the weekend in Cahuita with good value for cost. The owner helped us out with local tips and arranged a fun boat excursion through some marshlands. Make sure to try the vegetable curry at the restaurant across the road.
